He watches us during the day to see if we are naughty or nice.
He flies to Santa at night, reports on the day's behaviors, and flies back home.
He comes home a little later if we've been naughty...
But if we've been nice he is in a new place bright and early each morning.
So far, it seems to be helping us all be a little nicer.
Except Andrew doesn't want Marvin to tell Santa anything.
I guess he knows Marvin mostly has naughty things to report about him.
We better watch out... Christmas is coming!

Winkle is our elf informant. He does a pretty good job. Claire gets so excited to find him every morning! I talk to winkle sometimes..."Winkle do you see Claire not eating her lunch? Hmmmm do you think that is naughty or nice?" I don't know if it is very healthy.
I really need to buy the Elf on the Shelf, what a cute idea and such a fun tradiion. Merry Christmas to you and your cute family!!
Fun idea, we might need to try that next year. This year we have elves putting a treat in their stocking each morning if they are nice. The only thing it is doing is making them wake up early to check their stocking and eat candy in the wee morning hours. Elf on a shelf is defiantly a better idea!
Ours got the creative name of Elfie, don't know if he's helped much this year :( I'm thinking of maybe hiding him so they can't find him tomorrow, might make them worry a little more haha!
