Poor Kid!

I was just checking my e-mail today, and I realized it was suddenly WAY too quiet in the kitchen. The girls had been eating lunch, and I walked in there expecting to find BIG trouble. But, instead I found Sarah like this...

I'm glad they weren't doing anything they shouldn't, but I felt so bad for Sarah that she was tired enough to fall asleep like that!

I've Been Tagged!!

A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 Years Ago:
I was a 9th grader at Sunset Junior High. I played club volleyball and it was my life! Every weekend we would play in tournaments all over the place. Mostly local tournaments in Salt Lake City, but we also traveled to Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and California. I took both piano and flute lessons, and I was really looking forward to starting High School...

5 Things On My To Do List Today:
1. Take lunch to Dennis
2. Go to playgroup
3. Help a friend put up some vinyl lettering
4. Make dinner
5. Give the girls their bath tonight

Snacks I enjoy:
Ice cream, chocolate, Italian creme sodas, and cereal

What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire?
I would buy Dennis a farm, decorate my house from top to bottom, buy a new bed, and shop for fun!

3 Of My Bad Habits:
1. I spend too much time on the internet
2. I love to eat sweets
3. I put off vacuuming...

5 places I have lived:
Clinton, Utah (my parents house)
Logan, Utah
Coralville, Iowa
Clinton, Utah (mine and Dennis' house)
Guthrie, Oklahoma

5 Jobs that I have had:
1. Cleaning up house job sites as a kid
2. Assistant piano teacher
3. Computer lab consultant
4. Mortgage Associate
5. Mommy

Things people don't know about me:
I wish I were more outgoing. I think one of the most important things in life is to make yourself happy - no one and no thing can make you happy if you don't decide to be truly happy yourself. I want a big family (but I'm unsure what I mean by that). I never thought I'd marry a farm boy, but I love his background and I'm so grateful for it - it makes him a hardworker and a wonderful person! I used to wish I had blonde hair. I have absolutely nothing ready for our new baby... no room, hardly any clothes, and the list goes on!

I am tagging... Jennie, Ashley (Dickman), Katie, Ashley (Rich), and Rindee

Double Take...

What do you all think? Emma looks a little bit like me as a baby, huh? Yeah!!! I can now live assured that at least one of my children resembles me. Sarah looks so much like Dennis that I am pleased to have my little Emma as my spitting image. Now, if we could just work on passing down that red-hair...

Randomness...

We all took a family trip to Utah after Christmas and Emma's birthday, so I wanted to include some of the fun pictures of our trip. We got to play Guitar Hero on my brother's Wii (it is so much more fun than I thought it would be - I couldn't get enough), go to my parents' cabin in Idaho, play with cousins, and so much more. It was fun to be with family!

As usual... they are all of the girls, but they are just too cute that we can't resist snapping photos. I used my new pink camera Dennis bought me for Christmas, and I'm in love with it!

Little Guitar Hero

Here's Emma ear muffs... we had to ride in my Dad's snowcat to get through the snow drifts on the way to the cabin (just for the last few miles on dirt road).

Sarah had so much fun doing new things and seeing so much snow

The infamous pink cowgirl hat.
Sarah let Emma wear this for a minute, but it is on Sarah's head for the majority of the day. Whether we go to Dennis' office, WalMart, or just around home - she has to "ride the range."

The Treehouse Girls Getaway

When I was in college at Utah State, I had the best place to live with my roommates. We called our house the Treehouse and thus we became the Treehouse Girls. While I was in Utah the 5 of us that lived together sophomore year got together for 24 hours of pure fun. We all had wonderful husbands or parents who watched our children, and we had the best time! Whether it was taking a half hour to order at Chili's because we were chatting too much, making Katie give us all pedicures and then sleep on the floor, staying up until almost 4:00 am, Andie shopping for home decorations and then not buying the arrangement she spent an hour designing, trying on ridiculously high heels (which a couple of us would never buy anyway), Christine eating half of a turkey in her turkey burger, and Melissa patiently chauffering us everywhere, and eating and eating and eating. I hope we make this a Treehouse tradition...

Our slightly annoyed and impatient waiter took this cute one

Thanks for the pictures Katie!
