The handyman can...

Well, not exactly the "handyman," but maybe the handywoman?

I came across a wonderful blog a couple months ago, and it really gave me an itch to find a project.

After about 20 seconds of searching on craigslist, I found the most perfect project - a dining room table and chairs. Our current table was on the smaller side, and we only had 4 chairs. The craigslist table had 5 chairs (one short once the baby comes, but we'll deal with that later) and huge potential.

I started out with this:And ended up with..... THIS:

So cute, those chairs are so happy and fun, that would make any morning bright and happy eating breakfast at that table. Great job on your project!

I've always wanted to put cushions on my chairs!

can you please come over and teach me how to use our sewing machine!? I'm sure only stapling was involved in this project, but I know what you can do with a sewing machine too... let's just say i don't even know how to put the thread on the thing!

I love it! So creative and fun. Give me hope that my sad little table and folding chairs don't have to stay that way forever! Maybe I'll find a thrift store miracle too....
