Baking, Fishing, Swimming, and Sleeping!

For all of you out there wondering what we've been up to lately... here is your answer.

I'm not a huge fun of the hot and humid summers around here (especially because they last until October), so we've been trying out a lot of different things to do inside and outside of the house.

It is a must to have a constant supply of cookies in our house, and with all that cookie making Emma has become quite the helper. Mostly she likes to dip the cookie scoop and lick it! Don't worry... I wash it off after she has her scoop of yumminess.

For the next couple of pics I have to thank my great friend Melissa... she gave me the idea of indoor fishing. One of the days that it was stormy, we did this and the girls really loved it. I just need to get some better "fishing poles" because they were able to take these apart pretty quickly.

One nice thing about the heat around here is that some people have pools and invite us over to swim! Saturday we spent the afternoon poolside, so while Sarah worked on her tan I got nice and roasted (we slathered Emma in sunscreen to prevent her from having the same fate as me). When am I going to learn?

With all of our running around, the kids are completely exhausted. Andrew has even been known to crash while sitting up in his Bumbo chair! Poor guy...

And I just loved this picture of the girls because they don't usually sleep in the same bed - especially Emma's bed. They must have just needed a little cuddle after a long day.

Oh Ilove all those sleeping pictures. That is so cute he fell asleep in his bumbo, so sad. I also love the fishing idea you always do such fun things with your kids. Hey I was wondering how do you put when someone lasted did a post on your blogging friends? Is it very difficult? I keep seeing it on people's blogs and think it is such a convientant idea. Does it also work on private blogs? Sorry a lot of questions!

Good Job Super Mom! I Love Emma's Room! I hadn't seen any pictures of it. Do the girls share or is it just Emma's? So cute! I love the picture of Andrew sleeping-I can't believe how big he is getting!

To those of you wanting to know how to put a list of blogger friends and when they last updated: go to the customize your page part, add a page element, and then click on "blog list." It's a new thing that blogger offers. I love it. Unforunately, it does not work on private blogs, so you have to still check your private friends' blogs own your own.

Andrew looks so cute! I wish Brody would fall asleep in his BUMBO, he just cries if I have gone too far and he can't smell me

Love the indoor fishing idea. I also love that your kids always fall asleep in random places. I agree that we should get together soon. I will call you sometime because I have some questions with baby #2 on the way.

Poor little Andrew is so tuckered out! I hate the heat as well. I am a spring and fall girl that is for sure. That is so fun that you have neighbors to swim with! When are you moving back to play with me? I could get a pool you know. Would that do the trick?
