I'm not a big fan of pictures of myself all alone. I think the shot usually turns out better when I've got one of my little cuties with me! But, some of you that I haven't seen in a while have requested some pregnant belly shots. Sorry, but this is as good as you're going to get. I am feeling great and trying to get some last minute items finished on my "to do" list. Today, I washed the car seat and rearranged everything so that it's installed and ready to go!

Spring Fever
It's been at least a week since we've had warm weather, but today is in the 60's! We celebrated by breaking out the bubbles and sidewalk chalk for the first time of 2008. It's a little windy, but well worth it to be outside to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.Emma with the classic "cheese!" She wouldn't let go of the bubbles...
Sarah LOVED the sidewalk chalk - especially when I drew all her requests!

My "Big Girl"
Last night, I was able to spend a lot of one-on-one time with Sarah. This doesn't happen very often because the girls nap at the same time and go to bed pretty close to the same time also. But, whenever Sarah and I have time just to ourselves I am amazed at how much she's learning everyday and how sweet of a girl she is. We colored pictures together for almost two hours, and the cutie didn't stop chattering the entire time. She told me all about the things going on in her little head, sang me songs, and talked, and talked, and talked. It was a riot, and I loved every minute of it.
Two nights ago, Emma started to cry just about when Dennis and I were headed for bed. Dennis went to get her up since she's been teething, and when he went into the girls' room Sarah was cuddling with Emma and trying to give her a drink. It was so sweet and helpful. She is the best big sister...There are so many more stories I could share about Sarah... it's so fun to sit down and remember the cute, funny, and sweet little things an "almost three-year-old" does.

Fun at Home
With the girls being sick, we've decided to just have a fun day at home. It started last night when Dennis brought home popsicles for the girls. Sarah really thought it was fun to have those for dinner! (Anything to keep them hydrated, right?) Emma then decided she wanted a taste of Dennis' orange float, and she couldn't smile big enough while she sipped it down.
Today, Sarah has been cleaning with me. She is the biggest helper right now... she even rinses the dishes for me (soaking her shirt in the process) and gets them spotless. She helped me while I shampooed our carpets today, and boy does it smell better after yesterday's adventures! And... now her favorite "help" is to climb into the dryer after I've emptied it. I better make sure to check whenever I turn it on now!

Stomach Flu
My poor little girls are sick! Emma started throwing up today during her nap, and it took less than four hours before Sarah joined in. I had already called the doctor and I was expecting they'd both be sick.
It is so sad... but I have great kids. Emma just wants to cuddle a lot, and when I asked Sarah if her tummy hurt she said, "No. I just throw up like Emma," and shrugged her shoulders. I usually like to include pictures in my posts, but I think I'll spare you all this time! Wish me luck...

Texas Sheet Cake
I wanted to share this yummy recipe with you all... Dennis and I took it to our friends' house when they had us for dinner and so it's been on my mind (and in my tummy).
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks margarine
1 cup water
4 TBS cocoa
1/2 c. sour milk (1 t. vinegar with 1/2 c. milk)
2 beaten eggs
1/2 t. soda
1 t. vanilla
In large bowl blend sugar and flour good. Set aside. In sauce pan bring to a boil: water, margarine, and cocoa. Add to flour mixture (yes, hot) and mix well. Add rest of the ingredients and mix well. Bake in greased jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Frosting:
Bring to boil in sauce pan...
1 stick margarine
6 TBS milk
4 TBS cocoa
Add...
4 c. powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Spread over warm cake
Not again...
It happened to Emma this time... I decided she and Sarah were getting pretty tired, so I fed them lunch at 11:00 today. I got a phone call and I left the room for about 5 minutes. Sadly, this is what I found. The poor kid just couldn't hang on. I cleaned her up, but now she's wide awake and I can hear her playing in her room. What a silly baby!

We Love the Park!
Well, today it's raining like crazy, but this past weekend was absolutely beautiful. On both Friday and Saturday we went to the park and enjoyed the spring-like weather. Sarah had such a good time running around and going down the slides, and Emma did a great job toddling along on the sand and even climbing a little bit. It was soooo nice! Hopefully spring is just around the corner.
Sarah was nice enough to share the slide for one quick ride!
Whenever we tell Emma to say "cheese," she makes this face and says, "EEEEE!" It melts my heart...
Sarah climbing up the tunnel...
This is the infamous stump at our park. It's across the field a little ways, so Sarah likes to race Dennis over to it. We've taken a few other pictures of the two girls on this, so it's fun to see them growing over the months. I love Emma's pose here - she's a character!

Hubby Tag!
Looks like their's a new tag going around! You guys know the tagging rules so have fun. I would name people that I am tagging but some people don't really respond, so if you are reading this and you feel like you want to play than go right ahead and consider yourself tagged!
What is his name? Dennis Wade Hunger
How long have you been married? 4 Years and 8 months
How long did you date? We never dated in the true sense of the word since we lived in different states, but we met and were married 10 1/2 months later.
How old his he? 32
Who eats more? I probably do, but I'm blaming it on the baby!
Who said I love you first? That's a tricky one. He said it first one night while we were instant messaging, but I said it first in person.
Who is taller? Dennis
Who can sing better? Definitely Dennis on that one! I've never claimed to have any vocal ability.
Who is smarter? I think Dennis is because he's always pushing himself to learn and do more in life. He has a great education and has book smarts, but he also is constantly challenging himself with new things at work and around the house.
Who does the laundry? Me
Who pays the bills? Dennis organizes everything, but I usually help him write checks and address it all.
Who sleeps on the right side? He does, but I've been making him trade me when I'm uncomfortable lately.
Who mows the lawn? He does unless I want to surprise him and do it as a favor.
Who cooks dinner? I do mostly, but he's a great help in the kitchen! He likes to cook on weekends sometimes, and his stuff usually tastes better because he's more daring with deviating from the recipe.
Who drives? Dennis
Who is more stubborn? Um... both of us, I think are equally stubborn. Our kids are doomed!
Who kissed who first? Dennis kissed me
Who asked who out first? Neither, but I wrote the first letter...
Who proposed? He did
Who has more friends? I don't know... we each have a lot of different friends.
Who is more sensitive? I am for sure!
Who has more siblings? Dennis does. We both have 3 brothers, but he has two sisters and I only have one.
Who wears the pants? That's an interesting question. We both do, but I tend to be a pleaser so it appears as if he does a lot of the time!
Ideas, anyone... anyone?
Well... there is now less than six weeks until our adorable little boy will arrive. We couldn't be more thrilled, but there is one HUGE problem. We have no name for the little man. No idea at all as to what it's going to be. Neither of us is sold on any name in particular!
So, I was thinking maybe some of you (my faithful blog readers) could help us out. Any ideas? Send me a list if you want! I'm starting to get worried this little man is going to be Baby Boy forever!
