Sowing Seeds

Yesterday was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!

We played outside every second we could.

We even had a picnic lunch in our yard,

and the kids did a little "gardening."
Today... we have at least six inches of snow on the ground

and a fire roaring in our fireplace!

So, I'm just going to look at these pictures some more.

Oh, the unpredictability of the Oklahoma weather...

Birthday Boy!

Our "little buddy" turned two on March 11th.

It is crazy to think he's not a baby anymore!

He celebrated by:

playing with tractors, trains, trucks, and trailers
eating lunch at the train depot in town
eating his train cake
and opening presents that consisted of tractors, trains, trucks, and trailers

At age 2 Andrew:

loves anything with wheels
likes to wrestle his sisters
is learning new words each day
has a pretty deep, gruff voice
is still attached to his "green" (his blanket)
hardly ever cries when he's hurt
likes to give Daddy high fives, kisses, and "skins" before going to work
asks Mommy to "Yi Yo!" a lot, which means "Hold me!"
lives life at full speed
and is the cutest little guy around!

Fireside

Whenever we have a cold day, it means one thing...

TIME FOR A FIRE IN THE FIREPLACE!

We gather up the supplies:

wood
matches
marshmallows
graham crackers
and
chocolate

Then the fun begins!

just to hear you say that you love me

Silly Emma.
Sweet, silly Emma.

Emma has always been our most affectionate child.
She loves to cuddle.
She needs lots of kisses.
She doesn't understand other's personal space at all.

Lately, she has come up with a cute little idea.
With all that love she carries, comes a ball of fire too.
Sometimes she gets frustrated with Mommy, Daddy, AND Sarah all "helping" her and telling her what to do.
Her response?
"Don't tell me!!! But... I love you."

In one breath she goes from a ball of fire to a sweet, loving angel.
We love you too, Emma.

Note: To those of you asking about how I changed my font, I used the instructions from here. It took a while, but was worth it!

To a loved one...

Our Dearest Spring,

Please come back to us and stay! We enjoyed you so much visiting this week, but we really didn't get our fill. We want you, we need you, we love you!

The girls want to explore in the yard (and the nieghbor's yards), swing on the swingset, and burn some energy. Andrew wants to get dirty, run around with sticks, and eat dirt!

Love,
Three adorable little kids and their mommy

Pop the corn

Life doesn't get much better than some good old fashioned (pink) popcorn, a great movie (Barbie and the Island Princess), and a cuddly blankie.

The secret of life...

is relaxing in the tub... even if you are too big and you're fully clothed!
