Well, times have changed and so have the sprinklers! Fairly close to where we live there are a number of "spraygrounds" to play at. They are just like a regular city park - free and open to the public - but with levers, buckets, and fountains of water. For Labor Day, we took a family day to play. We went out for pizza, hit the sprayground, got ice cream on the way home, and topped it off with home-grilled steaks. It was a great day!

What a fun day! It's funny because when I was in Kentucky I was always sad to be missing out on the things going on at home and now I am missing out on fun family days just like yours sounds. I am so glad you guys had a great day and made so many happy memories. Cute, cute pictures!

Sounds fun! It seems like hot summer days in Iowa are gone. It's been in the 60's and 70's. It's nice for prego women like myself but it's sad that summer is over. Enjoy those warm days.
